The Memorial Tournament was held in Kherson

   On March 16, 2013 The Kherson State University hosted the second Open Regional volleyball tournament among women, this competition was held in memory of Oleg Mishukov, who was professor and the honored worker of arts.
   8 teams were invited to the tournament: The team of Academic Lyceum, the teams of kherson schools: № 52, № 24 Sports School № 1, № 1 - sports school № 6, the school team from Chulakovka - " Adelaida" and the team from the Hola Prystan, the team from Skadovsk, and the team from Nikolaev was also. Mother of Oleg Mishukov, Svetlana Zakharova, attended the competition and wished the participants health and high achievements in sport.
   The head Judge of the tournament, Alexander Andrusyak, commented: "Games were held in two groups in round system. The Champions of the teams competed in the finals for the first place. The Final for the 1st place was very intensive. There were two top teams in the competition: The team of Kherson Academic Lyceum and the "Adelaida" team".
   Tomilina Tatiana and Andrusyak Alexander, who are the tournament organizers, expressed the gratitude to the Ustin Maltsev Fund for the assistance in the conduct of sporting events and awarded with the diploma. 
   Vitaly Kuzmin, who is The Director of utility and the advisor of the Governor, said: "The tournament brought together the strongest players of the Kherson region. All teams competed for the championship and were very dignified". 
   The Public figure, Ustin Maltsev, said: "This event is a tribute to the memory of Oleg Mishukovo, who was an outstanding person in Ukraine. The tournament aims to attract more young people to a healthy lifestyle. It is a step on the way to the new victories for each participant. I wish you good luck to all teams in the tournament". 
According to the results of the competition, the champions of the tournament are:
The 1st place – The Academic Lyceum named after Mishukov
The 2nd place – The High School of Chulakovka
The 3rd place – The school № 24
The 4th place – The school № 1
The 5th place – The school № 52 and the school of Nikolaev.
The Winners were awarded with diplomas, sports cups, balls and gifts.
Other participants received incentive prizes from the sponsors. It was a decent game!
