The Ustin Maltsev Foundation supported Oleg Mishukov Memorial tournament

  On April 26, 2014 the 3-rd Outdoor regional women's volleyball tournament dedicated to honored art worker, professor Oleg Vasilyevich Mishukov took place at Sports Hall of Kherson State University (KSU).
  Six teams were invited to participate: a team of O.V. Mishukov academic lyceum at KSU, youth teams of Kherson sport schools No. 24 and No. 1, Chulakovskaya school youth team "Adelaida" from Golaya Pristan district, Ulyanovskaya school team from Skadovsk district, and a team from Nikolayev city. School girls of 9-11 grades attended the competition.
  The opening ceremony of the tournament began with laying of flowers to O.V.Mishukov memorial.

  Svetlana Ivanovna Zakharova, mother of Oleg V. Mishukov attended the opening ceremony and competition. She wished the participants health and high achievements in sports and said in her interview: "Every tournament has to revive the memory of my son and attract young people to a healthy lifestyle and sport." The organizers of the tournament - Director of O.V. Mishukov academic lyceum at KSU associate professor T.Y. Tomilina and Chairman of "Sporting community for young students of Ukraine" A.G. Andrusyak thanked the Ustin Maltsev Foundation for assistance in organizing this sport event.
  Public activist Ustin Maltsev stated in his speech: "This event is a tribute to the memory of an outstanding Ukrainian and our fellow countryman, Oleg Vasilievich Mishukov. As long as he lives is our memory, he lives in our hearts. We should continue to conduct this tournament in the future despite all the difficulties we face every year and try to attract attention of authorities, local deputies, youth and public organizations to this event."

  Based on the results of the competition we can name the prize winners of the tournament :
1 place - Chulakovskiy school youth team "Adelaida" from Golaya Pristan district ( coach Bogdan Tedeevich Jakubowski)
2 place - a youth team of Kherson sport school No. 24 (coach Alexander Kolisnichenko)
3 place - a team of O.V. Mishukov academic lyceum at KSU (coach Sergei Salnikov).
Top players : Ms. Victoria Peshkov (Chulakovskiy school youth team) and Ms. Anna Kozak (youth team of Kherson sport school)

  The winners of tournament were awarded with diplomas, cups, balls and valuable gifts. All other participants got incentive prizes from sponsors of the tournament.
  It was an exciting and inspiring game!
