A feast of goodness “From heart to heart”

   From April 15 till May 30,2014, the NICOLAS furniture company and the Ustin Maltsev Charitable Foundation launched a charity campaign "From heart to heart" dedicated to International Children's Day.
   During the campaign we managed to collect a lot of clothes, toys and books for children.
   Donation boxes located in NICOLAS furniture stores helped our partners, guests and friends to take part in this charity campaign. The fundraising allowed us to purchase stationery, sports equipment, hygiene and cleaning materials.

   On May 30, 2014 when all schools in Ukraine traditionally celebrated "The Last Bell at School" day the benefactors paid a visit to Nikolaev orphanage No.2, and on June 1, they visited Center for children's social and psychological rehabilitation in Stepanovka, Kherson region. Guided by their teachers the children staged a performance dedicated to International Children's day. The performance involved both adults and children who were barely 3 years old. Toddlers have caused a storm of emotions and applause. Many guests came to congratulate children with this wonderful day and wished them health, love and true friendship in their life.
   "We all want our children to be happy and smile! We have to think and protect them not once a year on this particular day, but we should take care of them every day of the year! Children are our happiness! " - said Irina Tokovilo, a spokeswoman for the NICOLAS company.
   Every year a lot of charity campaigns take place globally. They help improve lives of lonely children around the world, help them find at least a small part of what they're missing since their birth. Every child in the world has a legal right to a happy childhood, and it applies absolutely to all children.

   "The International Children's Day is not just a holiday for kids, it is a reminder to adults to protect rights of the child, his rights to a happy childhood, education, to do things he loves and become a wonderful parent for his children in the future. Children need our help and protection as they fully depend on us. We as adults should not disappoint our children, we should help them become happy and beloved!",- said Ekaterina Belokon, a representative of the charitable foundation.
