Urgent need to save heart of Vovochka Palamarets

  5 year old wonderful and active boy, Palamarets Vovochka, need urgent surgery with the establishment of intracardiac implant - occluder, which serves to close patent fenestra of the vestibule between left and right atrium. Vovochka has a congenital atrioseptal defect. Doctors gave hope that the oval fenestra of the vestibule would closed without any assistance. Unfortunately, the hole grows and becomes wider and it leads to the risk of child's life. If the atrioseptal defect is large enough, it couldn't heal and without surgical treatment leads to further development of cardiac failure.

  If do not hold an urgent medical treatment, the doctors' projections are not consoling and after a short time complications dangerous for child's life could occurred. It is connected with the blood stagnation in the small blood circulation due to the overload of right sections of heart. With a large pathological hole the pulmonary hypertension develops which is characterized by high blood pressure in a small circle. So, at this point, there is a need to make surgery as soon as possible. In this case by puncture (perforation) child's thigh artery, at the very top, they will put the special catheter with a device which will close the flow from the lumen of descending thoracic aorta. After the surgery, which are absolutely harmless, the child will feel great and live full life, as all children. Early operation for Vovochka would lead to a full his recovery.
