The museum of the Shovkunenko name celebrating anniversary!

   At the beginning of summer it finished celebrating 35 -th anniversary the Kherson regional artistic museum the name of A.A. Shovkunenko . This is important and resonance event for by the culture of environment of all Kherson. There are modern artists of Kherson region, Crimea, Kiev, Donetsk,         Odessa, painters and charts, masters of the applied art, sculptors, passed more than 3 000 works in to collection of museum.
The result of general persistent labour of artists, museum workers and sponsors was become by an exhibition, which presents in a panoramic volume the modern art of Ukraine, various after kinds and genres, hardwares, perception of the world and artistic intonations. Works of all artists are marked professionalness of implementation, individuality of interpretation, complication of attitude.
  Certificate: The Kherson regional artistic museum of the name of Shovkunenko is an artistic museum; adopted in honour the Ukrainian artist Alex Shovkunenko. It was opened on May, 27 1978. Takes place in former building of city town hall, sight of architecture of beginning of XX age.
