Ustin Maltsev Foundation Supports Conference of Psychologists

     On the 07-th/08-th of April 2016, the Chair of General and Social Psychology and the Socio-Psychological Service of Kherson State University, with the participation of teachers of the Chair of Practical Psychology, held the international research and practice conference of students, postgraduates and young scholars under the title "Socio-Psychological Techniques of Personality Development".
     The partners and co-organizers of the conference were the Faculty of Psychology of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Republic of Belarus), the Faculty of Social Health of Pacific State Medical University (Vladivostok, Russia), the Institute of Pedagogics and Psychology of Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky that are related to us through fruitful years of scholarly work based on the agreements on cooperation among our universities.
      The conference hosted a competition among student scholarly papers on socio-psychological issues. The authors of the best papers were given the opportunity to make scholarly reports at the conference's plenary session.
      The participants and guests of the conference were greeted by the Rector of Kherson State University, Doctor in Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of Ukraine Vasily Stratonov, the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology of Kherson State University, Doctor of Sociology, Professor Irina Shaposhnikova, the Head of the Chair of General and Social Psychology of Kherson State University, Doctor of Psychology, Professor Elena Blinova.

     The heart-warming tradition of the conference involved the giving of awards and gifts to the winners by the representatives of Ustin Maltsev Charitable Foundation who acted as the conference's funders.
    One of the "flavours" of the psychological conference is its practical part, when its participants get the opportunity to present their skills and abilities to deliver socio-psychological trainings and master classes. This year, students have presented 10 different training groups that are especially noteworthy. As is customary, the conference ended in a merry, cognitive and rousing student event with the compelling title «PsychoРarty», the organizer of which was Anastasiya Odintsova, a teacher of the Chair of General and Social Psychology.
    "The future specialists can open up new horizons for us in almost every sphere of our life because psychology teaches us how to understand ourselves and occurrences that happen to us, analyze them and draw the right conclusions. I'd also like to note that the inspiration that we, adults, can give to our rising generation shall be the incitement for the confident future of our children!" the founder of the charitable foundation Ustin Maltsev said.

    The conference's results have been summarized in the new collection of scholarly articles of students, postgraduates and young scholars under the title "Insight" (No. 13), which comprises 93 scholarly papers representing universities of Belarus, Russia and all of the regions of Ukraine.
