Ustin Maltsev Charitable Foundation Awarded the Winners of the City and Science Competition

To draw students to examine urgent problems of the city and advance the ways of the realization of the talented youth potential in their diplomas, the third city Competition City and Science was held. Kherson students showed not only a great interest to the event but also their willingness to help to develop their native city. This year the diplomas were represented with 9 nominations. Profile specialists of the executive committee of city council, science workers and practical workers estimated the diplomas. Competent juries selected 10 winners. Their works raised such questions as development of industry, economics and business, local government, agriculture and information technologies. Students also wrote dissertations on the modernization of industry, introduction of alternative energy sources, made their propositions as for solving the problem of flooding in the region.
Ustin Maltsev Charitable Foundation, which supports initiative youth in its endeavours, awarded the winners with wristwatches.
