Regional Competition of Ecological Theatres and Teams of Propagandists

March 30, 2010 in the House of Art the fourth Regional competition of ecological theatres and teams of propagandists was held, the organizer of the event was Regional center of Ecological Creativity of Youth. First of all, each performance was distinguished by two main features - incredible artistry and charm of the participants and also the demonstration of real actions which were aimed at improving the ecological situation in Kherson region. Young naturalists spoke about diverse actions and competitions which were held by them in their regions. Spectators enjoyed the performances which included songs, dances, fairy-tales, parodies, which were accompanied by interesting slides and contain neat expressions. The most popular topic among the teams was Future. During the performances ecologists were trying to show the nearest future, if people do not change their life and their attitude to nature and environment. The shown picture was quite sad: impossibility to go out without protective masks, disappearance of many kinds of plants and animals and even the sourses of fresh water. We have a great hope that the efforts of participants will have good results, calls for saving the planet will be heard and the realization of the projects will be the main prize for each team. Genichesk secondary school Ekonova have won the victory, the team will represent Kherson region at the 9th Ukrainian competition of ecological theatres and teams of propagandists. The second place was shared between teams of Nizhneserogozy, Golaya Pristan and Kalanchak regions. The third place took the representatives from Kahovka, Kherson and Belozerka regions. Each team was awarded with diplomas. Ustin Maltsev Charitable Foundation awarded the winners and prize-winners with valuable ecological encyclopedias, because it is important not give up at the arrived point. Our future truly begins with our children.
