Photo exhibition “It is love ...”

«It is love...» is the photo exhibition which was held on 14 February in the premises of the Kherson regional Museum.
Love - is likely not the word, but is certain things that make you realize that you are loved. Love is the only feeling which does not depend on anything. Love is the foundation of the world. Relying on these foundations, photographers created their great work.
22 contestants took part in the exhibition. There were schoolchildren, students and members of youth organizations.
Eugenia Dmitrievna, director of museum, told: "Three months workers of museum had been collecting photos of Kherson’s people. We had selected the best shots which showed love in its various manifestations. This love is not only between a man and a woman; also it is love to the native land, to the parents and peace.”
A major role in organizations of exhibition played not only employees of the museum, but also the department of youth and sports, department of the education and science of the Kherson City Council.
Informational support provided Ustin’s Maltsev charitable foundation and Kherson regional portal “Art-Kavun ". Representatives of these organizations were present at the unveiling. Ustin Valerievich, head of the foundation, congratulated everybody with St. Valentine's Day. He noted that this exhibition draws our attention to the main and important in our lives – to love!
The winner of the photo exposition "It is love ..." was announced 14 February. It was Efteeva Olga with the work "In the image and likeness." As a gift she received a certificate, which provides a power and opportunity at the exhibitions of her own photographs in the Kherson regional Museum.
The visitors had the possibility to vote for the best photograph and those to support of one of the participants of the contest. The most of votes were cast for a photo "Breaths on a bench" by Maksimova Helena, and she received the audience award, as a prize she get a subscription to the magazine "Digital Photo and Video".

In the exhibition hall you can find a box, with which you can help raise money for a little boy. Daniel is 1 and 9 months. Doctors gave him a diagnosis of congenital dystrophy with defect of growth of tubular bones and defeat of coxofemoral joints. In addition, the child was diagnosed, and doctors found kyphosis of the lumbar vertebra and hydrocephalus. Today Daniel requires an emergency operation in three steps using the Ilizarov apparatus. The clinic has already found. Operation and rehabilitation are costs $ 45 thousand – it is an insurmountable barrier for a single mother. If you have the opportunity to help this baby, don't be indifferent to other people's misery; give the boy a chance for a healthy future.
