Pancake week in Tsjurjupinsky special comprehensive school

With pancakes and honey pupils of Tsjurjupinsky special comprehensive school of І-ІІІ steps of the Kherson city council met spring.
Within limits of month a native language and with a view of revival national traditions at school some actions have been spent. The most picturesque and remembered was а holiday «the Pancake week seeing-off»
The Pancake week seeing-off, cheese week - the national celebratory cycle which has remained in Russia since pagan (pre-Christian) times. The ceremony is connected with wires of winter and meeting of spring.
During celebrating schoolboys played traditional games, sang and danced. Thus, they spent the cold already bothered winter and met spring – long-awaited and warm. Throughout all day children regaled on fragrant pancakes with honey.
Representatives of welfare fund Ustina Maltseva which always helping this school has been invited to a holiday.
Upon termination of representation its participants has burned in advance prepared stuffed animal of Pancake week so they banished winter and Invited spring.
We hope, this holiday hasn't passed for anything, and the spring won't keep itself waiting.
