On the 1-2nd of December the tournament of Alexandr Beresh will be held in Kherson

  In Kherson December 1-2, in the premises of the High School of Physical Education (at st.Chekistov, 2a) by the traditional International Gymnastics Tournament in memory of an outstanding athlete Alexandra Beresh. 
  The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on December 1 at 11:00.
  The tournament will bring together teams of gymnasts - master of sports of international class from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Moldova.
  Sporting event will be held under the patronage of the chairman of Kherson city Administration, Kostyak N.M., with the continued support of Vladimir Saldo. Event also supports Foundation Ustin Maltsev, Radio Chanson, hotel Frigate etc.
  Note. Alexander Beres - Honored Master of Sports. Absolute champion of Euro 2000 and the World University (1999). Vice-champion (team competitions) and bronze medalist (all-around) Sydney Olympics. Four times became the winner of the world championships. Multiple winner and winner of the World Cup and national tournaments. At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Alexander Beresh won for the Ukrainian team "silver" and "bronze." February 29, 2004, Alexander Beresh was killed in a car crash.
