Film festival “Kino Jam” started

  May 16, the "First Kherson film school" with the support Ustin Maltsev Charitable Fund, public organization Association "WE ARE KHERSONIANS", travel agency "All tours", opened the competition of the short-length films festival "Kino Jam". The start of the festival took place in a very warm and joy atmosphere.

  Among the 40 registered teams which joined to make a film in Kherson, the lots of tasks were held. Those who registered and got the theme for making a movie, have only one week for realization their creative ideas. Themes for participants were interesting and very varied. For those who really want to learn film making or know something new in the work of cinematography the series of master classes from the organizers and best directors were carry out. The program of the event included the premiere of the feature-length film "The Road to the West" from the guest and Kiev director Dmitry Zakharevich.
  "I will tell you a secret: the film- making begin to develop in Kherson now. This is due to the fact that the cinema of well-known for everybody country will be permanently banned soon, and vacuum, to be filled with, will form", said one of the founders of the "First Kherson film School" Ustin Danchuk.

  Just one week later, May 25, a jury will choose the winners of the competition "Kino Jam". The works provided by the festival teams, will present at the cinema "Multiplex", and the audience could vote for the favorite film. Teams which win in the competition will receive the prizes main of which is the people's choice award.
  "Such kind of competitions should be held in Kherson more often, because they are very important for the development of Kherson and its region. There are a lot of talented persons who need to reach their full potential in the right direction. Ustin Maltsev Fund always glad to support and help to develop these talents that will be pride of our city and the whole Ukraine", commented the representative of the fund, Lyaskovskaya Olga.
