The Ball of Good "A drop of blood is a drop of life" was held in Kherson

   On April 17 the second Charity Ball was held in the history of Kherson region. The local and regional authorities, business leaders and residents of the city, who have made their charitable donation were invited to the event.
The organizer of the evening was Larisa Polskaya, who is the chairman of the Public Council, the chairman of organization "DIYA" and the chairman of the Charity Fund "Zahist". The Ball has been organized to raise the funds that will help to buy HEMATRON III, the hermetic sealing of blood and plasma, that will be given to the blood transfusion services. The cost of this unit is 53,000 hrn. One of the major problem of the city will be solved.
   The Preparation to the Ball was very difficult.The organizers had to overcome the barrier of distrust in the form of events, as well as a charity in general. The social video clip had been broadcasted, the big boards attracted the attention and showed the problem of blood, the articles in newspapers described the urgent need of the event. And the result was not long in coming.
The evening of the Ball began with an entertaining program, and The Models Agency CatWalk presented the guests the wedding salon "Versailles". Guests could take the master class of ballroom dancing, where everyone could learn how to dance the Viennese valse. The Artist Oksana Osach introduced her work "The Frost and the sun," and offered to do a charity auction. The painting was sold for 4000 hrn.

   Larisa Polskaya, who is the festival organizer, thanked everyone who was able to visit the charity ball: " Thanks to all the guests of the celebrations, the separate gratitude to the sponsors who was able to support the project of such magnitude. Nikolai Kostyak, who is the head of the Kherson Regional Administration , and Zoya Berezhnaya were also invited on the Charity Ball. They also thanked the organizers of the evening and noted the increasing importance of good deals. Nikolai Kostyak presented Larisa Polskaya the statuette "The angel of good " for the development of philanthropy in the Kherson region and said: "Time passes very quickly. We must hurry to do good". "Only the development of good gives positive results. Every heart has a lot of good, we must be more open for people and share the warmth and light" - said Zoya Berezhnaya.

   Ustin Maltsev, who is the public figure, said: "Such activities bring people together. This Fund showed a good example, what contribution the charity brings to the society, how people can do good together. We hope that the events of such magnitude will be often held in the city, and the joint efforts of the charity in the Kherson region will reach a new level of performance".

  Thanks to the support of benefactors the sum 66268 hrn. was collected. The sum of 53000 hrn. will be purchased for the unit of plasma HEMATRON III and well be sent to the blood service center in Kherson. The remainder from the collected amount will be sent to the repairof the room "Dreamers", where children from poor families are engaged to make the artistic projects.
